A German Requiem Brahms

Conducted by Francesca Massey together with pianists Debbi Parks and Erin Sawicka , Augusta Hebbert, soprano and James Oldfield, baritone

Gravesham Choral will be performing A German Requiem in the London version as a piano duet. Brahms wrote the piece as a deeply personal reflection on love and loss and his message is one of steadfast faith, comfort and compassion. Balancing movements for full chorus and soloists, the work culminates in a truly magnificent choral fugue.
