Nurstead Court, Court Lane, Nurstead, Meopham, DA13 9AD

Changeling Theatre produces high quality, entertaining theatre in non-traditional locations for community audiences across South East England. Productions range from re-interpretations of Shakespeare and modern classics to working with new writers and composers to create innovative new theatre.

Changeling Theatre is delighted to present William Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost part of a comedy double bill with Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s The School for Scandal.

'We lose ourselves to keep our oaths.’

The King and three friends take an oath dedicating themselves to a life of study, avoiding the company of women for three years. No sooner have they made their vow the Princess of France and her ladies-in-waiting arrive, presenting the men with a severe test of their high-minded resolve.

Widely believed to be the prequel to Much Ado about Nothing, this early Shakespeare promises luscious costumes and a few surprises, including an original music collaboration with Kent arts festival, Jam on the Marsh.

Four boys and four girls in a game of love – this is Shakespeare does Bridgerton. If you loved the Netflix series, then this show is perfect for you!
