Following on from the success of Gravesham’s first Light Festival in January 2022 Gravesham Borough Council and the Arts Council England are delighted to return in 2023 with “Voyage of Light”!

This spectacle is an opportunity to travel through our town and experience familiar spaces in a totally new way. Reflecting our heritage and riverside location we are working with artists, schools and the community to create installations, exhibitions and experiences in a variety of locations including St George’s Arts Centre, Town Pier Square, St George’s Church Gardens, St Andrew’s Arts Centre & St Andrew’s Gardens and Gravesend Borough Market. Don’t be surprised to see things in a completely new light … with maybe a few shrimps and smugglers popping up on your voyage!
