St Andrew’s Gardens

Callisto Searle is a local artist living & working in Gravesend.

During the Fringe, Callisto will be creating an exhibition with passers by down at the St Andrews Quayside. Located by the rails, Callisto will be waiting with squares of Chinese calligraphy paper, & she will be drawing images of ‘home’. Past homes, things reminiscent of home, ideal future homes…

By dusk, these images will be pasted together in the shape of sail, and run up a pole to take the form of a ship’s mast, along the beautiful scenery of the quayside.
